Mason County Garbage Customers - Friday, January 20th, 2012.
Snow and ice conditions have stopped all garbage and recycling pick-ups. Garbage customers please double up your regular service for next Friday, January 27th. Recycle customers please bag up all extras and they will be picked up on the next scheduled pick up day on February 3rd. Thank you for your patience. Missed pick-ups due to weather or road conditions. Under our tariff from the Washington State Department of Utilities and Transportation, pick ups may be missed due to weather or road conditions. If the accumulated material (solid waste or recyclables) is collected on the next scheduled or available pick up date, the company is not obligated to extend credit for the missed pick up. Customers will not be charged for overfilled receptacles or for materials set out in bags on top of or next to the customers normal receptacles if the amount of extra material does not exceed the amount that would have reasonably been expected to accumulate due to the missed pick ups.
